One way is there is to install Ubuntu on top of Windows OS:
1. Install VirtualBox [It will work as Virtual Machine]
2. Now install Ubuntu (download from official site, its free); allocate some harddisk space & asign some RAM for its processing.
3. Run Virtual Box & start Linux machine [RAM size can be changed here as per requirement]
